This guide outlines the submission process, manuscript preparation, and ethical standards required for publication in MJCTT.

1. Scope of the Journal

MJCTT publishes scholarly articles focused on clinical research and therapeutic interventions. The journal accepts submissions in the following areas:

• Clinical trials (interventional and observational)

• Drug development and pharmaceutical research

• Biologics, devices, and treatment efficacy studies

• Translational medicine and personalized therapies

• Clinical pharmacology and toxicology

• Regulatory and ethical considerations in human studies

• Case studies and clinical trial protocols

2. Types of Manuscripts Accepted

MJCTT welcomes the following article types:

• Original Research Articles – Full reports of clinical trials or interventional studies

• Review Articles – In-depth analyses of therapeutic topics and clinical methodologies

• Clinical Case Reports – Detailed reports of novel or instructive clinical cases

• Brief Reports – Short reports of significant findings or early-phase studies

• Editorials – Expert insights, perspectives, or invited commentaries

• Letters to the Editor – Comments or scholarly opinions on published content or emerging topics

3. Manuscript Preparation Guidelines

A. Formatting Requirements

• Submit manuscripts in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)

• Use Times New Roman, font size 12

• 1.5 line spacing

• Number all pages consecutively

• Title page must include manuscript title, author names and affiliations, and corresponding author’s contact information

B. Abstract and Keywords

• Required for research and review articles (maximum 250 words)

• For original research, use a structured abstract with: Background, Methods, Results, Conclusion

• Provide 4–6 relevant keywords after the abstract

C. Main Text Structure
Original research articles should be organized as follows:

• Introduction

• Methods

• Results

• Discussion

• Conclusion
  Other article types may follow a flexible format suited to their content.

4. References and Citation Style

• Use Vancouver citation style

• References must be cited in the order they appear in the text

• Include only accessible, published sources

• Ensure references are complete and correctly formatted

5. Figures and Tables

• Place figures and tables at the end of the manuscript or upload as separate files

• Number them consecutively (e.g., Figure 1, Table 1)

• Include descriptive legends for each

• Images must be high-resolution (minimum 300 dpi)

6. Ethical Considerations

A. Human and Animal Studies

• Provide documentation of ethics committee approval for studies involving human or animal subjects

• Confirm informed consent for human studies

• Adhere to national and institutional ethical regulations

B. Plagiarism and Originality

• All submissions must be original and not under review elsewhere

• Plagiarism screening will be conducted using reliable detection software

• Authors are accountable for the authenticity and integrity of their work

C. Authorship

• MJCTT follows ICMJE authorship criteria

• All listed authors must have contributed significantly to the conception, execution, or interpretation of the work

• Any authorship changes after submission require written agreement from all authors

7. Peer Review Process

• All manuscripts are subject to double-blind peer review

• Reviewed by at least two independent experts in the field

• Average turnaround time: 4 to 6 weeks

• Authors will receive editorial decisions along with reviewer feedback

• Revisions may be requested prior to final acceptance

8. Open Access Policy

MJCTT is a fully open access journal. All articles are freely accessible immediately upon publication and published under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0), allowing unrestricted use with proper attribution.

9. Article Processing Charges (APC)

To support open access publication and journal operations, a modest Article Processing Charge (APC) may apply.

• Fee waivers or discounts are available for authors from low-income countries or upon justified request.
