The Mogito Open Access Journal of Evidence-Based Medical Practice (MJEMP) welcomes high-quality, peer-reviewed manuscripts that advance the science and application of evidence-based healthcare. This guide provides authors with essential information on scope, manuscript types, formatting, ethics, and submission.
1. Scope of the Journal
MJEMP publishes research and scholarly work that improves patient care, clinical decision-making, and healthcare systems through evidence-based methods. Topics include:

2. Types of Manuscripts Accepted

3. Manuscript Preparation
Formatting Requirements:
- Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx), Times New Roman, size 12, 1.5 spacing
- Continuous page numbering
- Title page with full title, author names/affiliations, and contact details of corresponding author
Abstract & Keywords:
- Max 250 words, structured (Background, Methods, Results, Conclusion for original research)
- 4–6 relevant keywords
Main Text Structure:
- Original Research: Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion
- Other formats: appropriate for manuscript type
4. References & Citations
- Vancouver citation style, numbered in order of appearance
- Only cite published, accessible sources
5. Figures & Tables
- Number sequentially (e.g., Figure 1, Table 1)
- Place at the end or in separate files
- High resolution (≥300 dpi) with titles and legends
6. Ethical Standards
Human & Animal Studies:
- Ethical approval documentation
- Informed consent statement
- Compliance with international guidelines
Plagiarism & Originality:
- Only original, unpublished work accepted
- All manuscripts undergo plagiarism checks
Authorship:
- Follows ICMJE criteria
- All authors must have made significant contributions
7. Peer Review
- Double-blind process with at least two expert reviewers
- Average decision time: 4–6 weeks
- Revisions may be requested
