At MJEMP, we uphold the highest standards of ethics, transparency, and academic integrity in medical publishing. This policy outlines the ethical duties of authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher to maintain scientific credibility and trust.
1. Ethical Responsibilities of Authors

- Editorial Independence: Decisions are based solely on scientific merit, originality, and relevance—free from commercial or political influence.
- Fair & Timely Peer Review: Editors ensure objective, double-blind peer review conducted promptly without discrimination.
- Confidentiality: Editors protect manuscript confidentiality and do not disclose unpublished information.

3. Responsibilities of Peer Reviewers
- Objective Review: Reviewers provide unbiased, constructive evaluations focused on scientific quality. Unprofessional or biased comments are unacceptable.
- Confidentiality: Manuscripts under review must remain confidential and not be used for personal gain.
- Conflict Disclosure: Reviewers disclose potential conflicts and may decline reviews if impartiality is compromised.
