Mogito Open Access Journals of Plant Biology & Agricultural Biotechnology (MJPBAB) Editorial Policy
The Mogito Open Access Journal of Plant Biology & Agricultural Biotechnology (MJPBAB) is committed to upholding the highest standards of scholarly publishing. Our editorial policy is designed to ensure transparency, fairness, and scientific integrity at every stage of the publication process. We aim to foster a collaborative and inclusive platform that advances research in plant sciences, biotechnology, and sustainable agriculture.
MJPBAB’s editorial policies align with guidelines provided by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), and the World Association of Medical Editors (WAME).
1. Editorial Independence & Objectivity
All editorial decisions are made independently of the publisher and are based solely on the manuscript’s scientific merit, relevance to the journal’s scope, clarity, originality, and compliance with ethical standards. Editors do not discriminate based on the authors’ race, gender, nationality, institution, or political beliefs.
2. Peer Review Process
MJPBAB operates a double-blind peer review system, ensuring anonymity for both authors and reviewers. This process promotes unbiased evaluations and maintains the integrity of scholarly communication.
Each manuscript is reviewed by a minimum of two qualified reviewers.
Reviewers evaluate scientific soundness, innovation, methodology, clarity, and relevance.
Editorial decisions include: acceptance, minor/major revisions, or rejection.
Authors are given the opportunity to respond to reviewer comments and submit revisions.
Final decisions rest with the Editor-in-Chief or delegated Senior Editors.

Suspected cases may be referred to the authors’ institutions or ethics committees.
If proven, the journal may issue corrections, retractions, or expressions of concern.

5. Conflict of Interest Policy
All participants in the editorial process—authors, reviewers, and editors—must disclose any relationships or interests that could influence the work. These include financial, institutional, or personal affiliations. Transparent disclosure helps maintain trust in the publication process.
