Mogito Open Access Journals of Zoology & Animal Sciences (MJZAS) welcomes submissions of high-quality, original research articles, reviews, case studies, and short communications that advance knowledge in the fields of zoology, animal biology, ecology, and veterinary sciences.

This Author Guide is designed to help prospective contributors understand our submission requirements, editorial process, and publication standards.

Manuscript Categories

MJZAS accepts the following types of manuscripts:

  • Original Research Articles – Comprehensive studies presenting new findings

  • Review Articles – Critical evaluations of existing literature

  • Case Studies – Detailed reports on specific animal cases or conservation scenarios

  • Short Communications – Brief reports on novel observations or preliminary data

  • Perspectives & Commentaries – Scholarly opinions on emerging topics

General Submission Guidelines

Language and Style

  • All submissions must be in English, written clearly and concisely. a notices for accepting articles on other languages will be placed on the website on the website soon...

  • Authors should follow scientific writing standards and avoid jargon.

  • Non-native speakers are encouraged to seek professional language editing before submission.

Manuscript Structure

A typical research manuscript should be organized as follows:

  1. Title Page

    • Title of the manuscript

    • Author(s) full names and affiliations

    • Corresponding author’s email address

    • ORCID iDs (optional but encouraged)

  2. Abstract

    • 200–300 words summarizing the purpose, methods, results, and conclusion

    • Include 3–6 keywords

  3. Introduction

    • Background, rationale, and objective of the study

  4. Materials and Methods

    • Detailed methodology enabling reproducibility

    • Ethical approvals for animal research must be stated

  5. Results

    • Clearly presented data with relevant figures and tables

  6. Discussion

    • Interpretation of results, limitations, and implications

  7. Conclusion

    • Brief summary and potential future directions

  8. Acknowledgments (if applicable)

  9. References

    • Use consistent citation style (e.g., APA or Vancouver)

  10. Supplementary Materials (optional)

Formatting Requirements

  • Manuscripts must be submitted as a Word document (.doc/.docx)

  • Use 12-point Times New Roman, double-spaced

  • Figures and tables should be placed at the end of the manuscript or submitted as separate files

  • Number all pages sequentially

Ethical Considerations

  • Research involving animals must include statements of compliance with relevant ethical regulations and approval from an institutional review board or animal ethics committee.

  • All authors must affirm that the manuscript is original, has not been published elsewhere, and is not under consideration by another journal.
